Former Prime Minister of Pakistan
Raja Pervaiz Ashraf
October 21, 2025
Raja Pervaiz Ashraf described climate change as a serious challenge for Pakistan, noting that despite contributing little to global emissions, the country remains highly vulnerable to floods and extreme weather, as seen in 2010 and 2022. He emphasized the need for long-term planning, stronger governance, and greater investment in climate science and disaster management, while also appreciating the efforts of the SACH Institute in promoting climate awareness and collaborative action.
