Prof. Mustapha Zanzoun
Prof. Mustapha Zanzoun serves as an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Letters and Humanities, Beni Mellal, Morocco. His academic and research interests lie primarily in Applied Linguistics and Media Studies, with a strong focus on the intersections of language, communication, and societal development.
He earned his Doctorate in 2017 for his dissertation titled “The Use of Social Media in Promoting Human Rights in Morocco: The Case of Facebook.” A distinguished educator, Prof. Zanzoun was a Fulbright Teacher at Patterson High School in Baltimore, USA, in 2009.
He is an active member of the Research Group on Discourse Analysis and the LARLLARC Laboratory at Sultan Moulay Slimane University. In addition, he is a British Council validated teacher-trainer, an E-moderator, and an International School Award (ISA) Assessor.
Prof. Zanzoun has contributed extensively to research and academia through numerous publications, edited volumes, conference presentations, and workshops. His work in education, media discourse, and English language teaching in Morocco reflects his commitment to advancing dialogue between media, pedagogy, and human rights.
