Dr Shaheer Ellahi
Dr Shaheer Ellahi is as an Associate Professor and Head of BSPH Programme at Health Services Academy Government of Pakistan. He is also the Adjunct Associate Professor at Dalla Lana School of Public Health University of Toronto Canada and Guest Lecturer at Nuffield Centre for International Health and Development, University of Leeds UK.
Dr Shaheer’s multiple degrees in Anthropology, International Development and Public Health creates a unique combination of his expertise in Spiritual Healing, Indigenous Knowledge, Language, Culture and Health, Sufism and Mysticism, and Development at large.
Dr Shaheer holds Membership through Distinction of Faculty of Public Health UK. He also holds fellowship(s) of Royal Anthropological Institute of Great Britain and Ireland, and Higher Education Academy UK based on UK Professional Standards Framework by Advance HE UK. He has multiple International and National publications on various public health, social and philosophical issues.
Dr Shaheer is the Focal Person of ICARS project on Rationalized Prescription and AMR in Punjab Pakistan. He is also the National Technical Focal Person and Expert for Risk Communication and Community Engagement for Joint External Evaluation.
He holds multiple certifications on the issues of research, health and development from University of Oxford, University of Leeds and Johns Hopkins. He has also participated in a workshop for Educators organized by the Division of Continuing Education, Harvard University.
Dr Shaheer is engaged both at renowned national and international institutions as an external examiner, committee member, editor and researcher.
