Dr. Engelberg is a practicing psychoanalyst and a respected member of the Vienna Psychoanalytic Society, the International Psychoanalytic Society, and ISPSO (International Society for the Psychoanalytic Study of Organizations). His work bridges psychoanalysis with leadership, organizational development, and team dynamics, helping leaders and organizations navigate complex challenges.
As Executive Partner at the Vienna Consulting Group, he has decades of experience consulting with executive teams, facilitating leadership programs, and conducting coaching initiatives at the highest levels of business and government.
He is also Adjunct Professor at the Vienna University of Economics and Business, where he shares his expertise in leadership, organizational behavior, and psychoanalytic approaches to management and communication.

From 2017 to 2024, Dr. Engelberg served as a Member of the Austrian Parliament, where he was actively involved in key committees on Foreign Policy, EU Affairs, Culture, and Human Rights. He was also the party’s spokesperson for International Development Cooperation and founder of the Parliamentary Caucus “Transatlantic Friends of Israel.” His political career reflected his deep commitment to democratic values, human rights, and fostering international dialogue.
