The International Climate Solutions Summit 2025 will bring together global leaders, innovators, and changemakers in the vibrant city of Galle, Sri Lanka, to address one of the most pressing challenges of our time: climate change. This three-day event will offer a platform for thought-provoking discussions, collaborative workshops, and practical solutions aimed at mitigating climate impacts and fostering a sustainable future. With a focus on smart, actionable strategies, the summit will feature sessions on policy innovations, renewable energy, corporate responsibility, and grassroots climate activism, each lasting no more than an hour to ensure dynamic engagement.

Attendees will have the opportunity to explore cutting-edge technologies and strategies in climate resilience, engage with policymakers and industry experts, and forge international partnerships. Complementing the informative sessions will be opportunities to experience Sri Lanka’s rich cultural heritage and natural beauty, blending intellectual discussions with immersive experiences. The International Climate Solutions Summit 2025 promises to be an influential gathering, shaping the global climate agenda for years to come.

Eco Expedition Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Colombo

  • Arrival: Land in Colombo, Bandaranaike International Airport.
  • Hotel Check-in: Transfer to your hotel in Colombo.
  • City Tour: Explore Colombo’s key landmarks:
    • Independence Square
    • Gangaramaya Temple
    • Galle Face Green
    • Colombo National Museum
    • Enjoy local cuisine at a well-known restaurant.
  • Evening: Welcome dinner and briefing on the upcoming summit.

Day 2: Colombo to Galle

  • Morning: Breakfast at the hotel and depart for Galle (approx. 2.5-3 hours by road).
  • Arrival in Galle: Check-in at the hotel or summit venue.
  • Afternoon: Opening ceremony of the International Climate Solutions Summit 2025, followed by keynote address and initial discussions.
  • Evening: Networking dinner with summit delegates.

Day 3: Summit in Galle (Day 2 of Summit)

Day 5: Galle to Udawalawe National Park

  • Morning: Depart for Udawalawe National Park (approx. 2.5 hours by road).
  • Afternoon: Check-in at a nature lodge.
  • Evening: Safari and wildlife experience in the park, spotting elephants and other wildlife.
  • Night: Dinner at the lodge with discussions on conservation and sustainability.

Day 6: Nature Experience in Udawalawe National Park

  • Morning: Early morning safari and nature walk.
  • Afternoon: Drive back to Colombo (approx. 4 hours by road).
  • Evening: Farewell dinner in Colombo and free time.

Day 7: Extra Day in Colombo

  • Flex Day: Reserved for any flight adjustments or further exploration of Colombo.
  • Optional Activities:
    • Visit shopping districts or markets.
    • Explore Dehiwala Zoo or Mount Lavinia Beach.
    • Relax at the hotel or enjoy local spa treatments.

1. Fully Funded 

  • Air Ticket, Boarding & Lodging: Fully covered by the organizers.
  • Participants selected under this option will have their airfare, accommodation, and meals arranged and paid for by the event organizers.
  • No additional fees required.

2. Partially Funded 

  • Boarding & Lodging: Covered by the organizers for the 3-day summit.
  • Travel Expenses: To be fully covered by the applicant.
  • Participants are responsible for arranging and paying for their own travel to and from Sri Lanka, including visas and travel insurance.

3. Self-Funded 

  • Total Cost: 675 USD (or equivalent in PKR), payable within 7 days after receiving the confirmation email upon being shortlisted.
  • Travel Arrangements: Participants must arrange and pay for their own travel to and from Sri Lanka, including airfare, visa, and travel insurance.
  • Boarding & Lodging: Organizers will arrange accommodation and meals during the summit.
